Біологія та Екологія
Valeology(lat. valeo — health, to be healthy) — modern integral science of
fundamental laws of spiritual, mental and physical health as an individual and
of the entire society as a whole at a new stage of its spiritual and creative evolution. This term was proposed for the first time
Professor II Brekhman in 1980.
Tasks of valeology:
increasing the level of health, improving the quality of life and social adaptation of the individual through correction;
study of patterns of formation of individual health and its conditions
preservation and strengthening;
formation of a new non-violent and spiritual-creative thinking;
the formation of a practically healthy, active and creative person, capable
to preserve, develop and maintain your health at an appropriate level throughout your life.
The subject of medical valeology is individual human health,
its mechanisms, their possibilities
corrections, reserves of human health and a healthy lifestyle.
Object of valeology— a person who is in the whole range
health (healthy, "third state", sick).
Psychosomatic functional state of a person taking into account
all the complexity and diversity of biological,
socio-economic, ecological, moral-ethical, household, professional,
social and political
and other living conditions.
Modern valeophilosophy, which considers health as one of the key life
values, overcomes the narrow framework of egocentrism, because it offers a fundamentally different approach:
health as self-worth and spirituality do not oppose each other, but form an organic unity.
Healthis a state of complete physical, psychological, and social well-being, and not just the absence of diseases or any defects (WHO definition).
Valeological definition:health is a dynamic state of the human body, which is characterized by high energy potential, optimistic adaptive reactions to changes in environmental conditions, which ensures physical, spiritual, social flourishing, well-being, effective resistance to diseases, full life and active longevity.
Health is a state of the body when its functions are balanced with the environment and there are no morbid changes. the level of physiological reserves. The presence of a significant amount of physiological reserves is the basis of productive activity. The most adequate, natural agents (stimulators) for the growth of physiological reserves are the systematic performance of physical exercises and hardening loads. After all, it was under the influence of physical activity and microclimate fluctuations that the formation and improvement of man in the process of phylogenetic development took place.
Health criteria:
1. Absence of diseases.
2. Correspondence of growth and development.
3. A certain supply of adaptation reserves
4. Optimal performance.
5. Individual - the health of each individual person, which is formed in certain social conditions and depends on the way of life, individual health is not only treatment, rehabilitation, recovery of the sick, not only the prevention of functional abnormalities, but above all - the increase health potential due to the formation of its reserves
Public– the overall health of a large number of people, which is characterized by such indicators
Health status
Hsparrow- short-term or long-term disruption of the body's vital activity as a result of external or internal factors: Biological: viruses, bacteria, fungi; Physical: temperature, humidity, electromagnetic fields; Chemical: chlorine in water; Social: unemployment, economic crisis; Genetic; Influence of negative factors during pregnancy. There is a transitional state between health and illness. At the same time, health is considered as a more general category compared to pre-disease. Pre-disease and illness are separate cases of health when its level is reduced or its defects are present.
